Knockout Poker

Tournaments

A Knockout Poker Tournament takes the familiar tournament format and adds a bounty. Every player who registers has one placed on them, and each time you eliminate an opponent, their bounty is yours.

No bell, no gloves, no ringside towel. Just felt, cards, and a table that quietly gets smaller.

You will find these tournaments sitting alongside the rest of the poker schedule, listed in the Sit & Go tab and the Tourney / Tournaments tab, depending on the platform you are playing on.

Bets, Payouts & Rules

Knockout Poker Tournaments run as special MTT and Sit & Go events. The defining difference is how the prize money is divided.

  • The prize money is split in two: one portion goes to the overall prize pool, and the other is set aside as bounties.
  • Every registered player carries a bounty from the moment they take their seat.
  • Each time you knock an opponent out of the tournament, you collect the bounty attached to them.
  • Unlike traditional MTT and Sit & Go events, you do not need to finish in the money places to receive a bounty prize.
  • The remaining portion of the prize pool is awarded as normal to the players who finish in the paid positions.

Getting seated is straightforward. Open the Sit & Go or Tourney / Tournaments tab, choose the game type you want to play, select Register, and you will be placed at a tournament table.

Features & Bonus Rounds

Bounties on Every Player

The bounty is the heart of the format. Every opponent at your table is carrying one, and so, of course, are you. Worth bearing in mind when someone opposite you starts staring a little too intently.

Two Tournament Formats

Knockout Poker runs across both MTT and Sit & Go structures, so you can pick the shape of tournament that suits how you like to play: a larger multi-table field, or a quicker single-table affair.

Knockouts Outside the Money Places

Because bounties sit separately from the main prize pool, eliminations are rewarded throughout the tournament rather than only at the paid finishing positions. Every knockout counts on its own terms.

Taste & Feel

Whether you prefer the long grind of a multi-table field or the tighter drama of a single table, the Knockout Poker Tournament schedule has room for both. Have a wander through the lobby whenever the mood takes you.

What makes a Knockout Poker Tournament different from a standard tournament?

The prize money is divided into two parts. One part forms the overall prize pool, while the other is distributed as bounties, awarded to players for each opponent they knock out.

Do I need to finish in the money to receive a bounty?

No. Bounty prizes are separate from the main prize pool, so you can collect them for eliminations regardless of where you finish in the tournament.

Where can I find Knockout Poker Tournaments?

They are listed in the Sit & Go tab and the Tourney / Tournaments tab, depending on the gaming platform you are using. Choose the game type you want, select Register, and you will be seated at a tournament table.
