All in cash out

Every poker player meets the same moment sooner or later: the chips are in the middle, the cards are face up, and there is nothing left to do but watch the dealer go to work. All-in Cash Out gives eligible players another option at that point, taking the calculated value of their hand instead of playing it out to showdown.

Even a hand that is well ahead can come unstuck when there are community cards still to come. This feature simply hands you a decision at the moment you would otherwise be a spectator.

What All-in Cash Out Is

All-in Cash Out is an optional feature at real money ring game tables. When an all-in situation arises and the hands are on their backs, you can either accept the cash out amount offered for your hand or decline it and contest the pot as normal.

The choice sits entirely with you, hand by hand. There is no obligation to use it, and declining changes nothing about how the hand plays out.

How All-in Cash Out Works

The offer appears in a cash game once players are all-in, the hands have been revealed, and there is no further action pending.

  • Each hand still live in the pot is assessed for its probability of winning.
  • A cash out amount is assigned to each hand based on those probabilities.
  • Players in the all-in pot are shown the option to cash out their hand.
  • Accepting means the amount is added to your stack immediately, and you are no longer contesting any part of the pot or any side pots involved.
  • Declining means the hand runs its natural course and you need the best hand at showdown to take the pot.

Confirmation is always manual. You have to press the button yourself, and if the decision times out, the default is to decline the offer and play the hand out as usual.

Cards Are Still Dealt

If every player in the hand takes the cash out, the remaining community cards are still dealt. The board plays out either way, which is one small mercy for anyone who simply must know whether that ace was coming.

How the Cash Out Amount Is Calculated

The amount offered for your hand is based on the size of the pot after rake, multiplied by your hand's probability of winning it. A cash out fee is applied to the value of your own hand only, not to the whole pot, and it is deducted before the offer is shown to you.

Because the calculation is driven by hand probabilities, the figure moves around from spot to spot. A hand that is well ahead will be offered more of the pot's value than the hand trailing behind it.

Eligible Games

All-in Cash Out is available at real money ring game tables in the following formats:

  • No Limit Hold'em
  • Pot Limit Omaha
  • 6+ No Limit Hold'em, where available

Points Worth Knowing

  • Once you cash out your hand, you can no longer win any portion of the pot. If your hand would have won at showdown, the pot is removed from the table.
  • If an opponent cashes out, you still need the best hand at showdown to win the pot.
  • The offer only exists from the point cards are revealed. If just one player is all-in, no offer appears until any side action is complete and the cards are face up.
  • Very small cash out values are not offered.

Turning the Feature Off

If you would rather never see the prompt, you can opt out of All-in Cash Out entirely from the Settings menu. Some players prefer to let every hand run to the river without so much as a flicker of temptation, and that is a perfectly reasonable way to live.

Playing Responsibly

All-in Cash Out changes how a hand can end, not the fact that poker outcomes are uncertain. Take your time with each decision, treat every session as entertainment, and use our responsible gambling tools whenever you want a little extra structure around your play.

Explore the Tables

Whether you take the offer, wave it away, or switch it off completely, the choice belongs to you. Have a look around the poker rooms whenever the mood takes you, and let the cards do their thing.

When am I offered All-in Cash Out?

The option appears in a cash game once an all-in situation occurs, the hands have been revealed, and there is no further action still to come. It is not offered before cards are face up.

What happens if my opponent cashes out but I do not?

You still need the best hand at showdown to win the pot. An opponent cashing out does not award you the pot by default.

Which games include All-in Cash Out?
